Madeleine is a freelance art historian, writer and digital marketing professional with over seven years of experience working with websites, social media, online advertising and digital communications. She holds an MA in Art History with distinction from Birkbeck College, specializing in the Pre-Raphaelites, and a BFA in Costume Design and Construction for Theatre from Webster University. Her research current research focuses on the Gothic, D. G. Rossetti and female Pre-Raphaelite artists.
She is also a member of The Pre-Raphaelite Society (go join) and the Association of Art Historians. She lives in Highgate with two ginger tomcats where she tweets about digital and artistic issues. In her spare time she is a committee member of her local WI and is in charge of their website, and edits Wikipedia as Nouveaudigital. She enjoys costume design and wine tasting. She also quiet enjoys writing in the third person.
